There is currently a number football superstar in their incipient days;
one of them is Mykhailo Petrovych Mudryk. Two things catch the mind of an
average individual who sees this name. Mykhailo sounds like the Islamic
rendition of the name Michael – Mika’il. The other and most prominent thing is
the name Mudryk.
Though Mikail is a name common among people in the vicinity of
Russia, Mudryk is strictly an Islamic name which means ‘intelligent’ or ‘reasonable’.
So, is Mykhailo Mudryk a Muslim? Unfortunately; NO.
The superstar was born to Petrovych Mudryk (his father) and Inna Nikolaevna Mudryk (his mother) on 5th January 2001 in Krasnohrad, Ukraine. Mudryk is known to have a copious amount of tattoos.
He was asked about this in an interview in September of 2022 and he said, "All my tattoos have a meaning, but only Jesus is the biggest and most important".
It ergo goes to say that Mudryk is an Orthodox Christian and he frequently
carries religious icons to matches.
Mykhailo Mudryk plies his trade as a winger for Ukrainian
Premier League club, Shakhtar Donetsk, and the Blue and Yellow (Ukrainian
national team).
