The event which took place within the premises of Masjius-Sahabah on Saturday brought together notable members of society which included local government chairmen and Islamic scholars of repute within the city of Minna.
The walima featured a lecture delivered by a popular scholar, Mallam Muhammad Muttaka Ibrahim. It was an admonition to the grandaunts to strive hard to implement whatever they have been taught in the course of their years of study. Another speaker emphasized the need for the celebrants to keep seeking knowledge as the journey has just started.

Programmes that decorated the occasion were Qur’an recitations by the graduating students and some of the current students. Awards were also given for punctuality, diligence in school fees payment and excellence in performance.
A special award was given to a young girl Fatimah Mamman Musa Lafiya, for her patience.
The Chairman of the Occasion was Alhaji Kudu Muhammad, the Father of the Day was the Dagachin Zungeru and the Special Guest of Honour was Alh Hassan Abdussalam (Shatiman Zungeru).
The local government chairmen of Mokwa and Wushishi took part in handing prizes to the students. In the donations window, the Dagachin Zungeru, on behalf of his family made a donation of N50, 000 and an anonymous donor wowed the audience with a donation of N200, 000.
The Markazussahabah Litahfizil Kur'ani Waddirasatil Islamiyya is located at the Albarka Area New Prison Tunga Minna-Niger state, Nigeria.
