Rohingya Muslims Not Welcomed in Muslim Bangladesh

The secular and Islam-repressionist government of Bangladesh on Thursday 29th December called for all Rohingya refugees who have crossed the border into Bangladesh from Burma to be repatriated to their land of persecution. The new order will see all Rohingya refugees residing in Bangladesh including those who migrated to the country before the current government crack-down in Burma sent back to Burma. The new on-slaught on the Rohingya Muslims by the Burmese government started in October after an attack on a police post in Rakhine state led to the death of a number of police officers. About 50,000 Rohingya refugees have crossed the border into Bangladesh since the government backed on-slaught started anew in October. The Bangladeshi government has sent Rohingya refugees back to Burma several times in the past. According to the Bangladeshi foreign ministry, about 300,000 Rohingyas are currently residing in Bangladesh with 29,000 of them as registered refugees.
